Thankfully we didn’t need to travel back millions of years or hot foot it all the way over to Nevada to get an idea of what this game is like. Instead, we sampled its many delights from the comfort of our own home, which gave us enough information to write a fully informed Dinopolis slot machine review which you can use to give yourself a head start before moving onto real money play. 

Dinopolis Theme
Games take place in a suitably glitzy, gilt-edged 5-reel frame, though the reels are 3, 4, 4, 4 and 3 high from left to right which throws up some interesting opportunities. On the reels you’ll find dice, poker chips, playing cards and wads of cash, all making it clear that this is a slot that’s about gaming – though the more valuable symbols feature dinosaurs in various guises wearing tuxedos, impersonating Elvis, dressed up as showgirls and generally living the largest life possible.

When we put our Dinopolis review together, however, our favourite visual feature was the impressive background which depicts a large Vegas hotel complete with a Jurassic version of the Statue of Liberty outside. It all works well together and deserves serious acclaim for imagination alone. 

Betting Options 
If you’re more of a tiny-saur than a dinosaur, then bets of $0.10 are possible. As you grow in confidence, however, you’ll want to bet more – and a maximum of $100 per spin is available if you’d rather make T-Rex sized wagers. 

To adjust the amount you bet, simply use the Total Bet square at the bottom of the screen and after a couple of clicks you’ll be ready to start your adventure. 

Bonus Features
Firstly, you need to be aware that wild symbols in this game do more than just substitute for most of the other symbols. They can also arrive with 2x or 3x multipliers attached – a feature that we loved, and which made researching our Dinopolis review even more fun than we thought it would initially be. 

However, the really serious stuff kicks in when the Dino Coin symbols start appearing. These appear on reels 1 and 5 only and bear multipliers of 2x, 5x, 10x, 25x, 50x, 100x, 500x and even 1,000x. They become active when combined with 2 or more wilds on the middle 3 reels, and give you a payout of your stake value times the multiplier. 

Should you spin 3 purple card scatter symbols on the middle 3 reels you’ll activate the Dino Bonus free spins feature. At this point you’ll be taken off-screen and shown 4 cards face down and asked to select one.  Another set is then dealt and you’ll pick again, with the 1^st card giving you a feature and the 2^nd awarding you a number of free spins. 

The available features are as follows: 

The Sticky Stack Wilds feature can cause Sticky Stack Wilds to land on the reels and they’ll have a 2x multiplier when they land on any of the middle three reels. Adjacent Sticky Stacks multiply their multiplier values together. 

Single Reel Multiplier Boosters can cause a reel with a Sticky Stack Multiplier to have its multiplier increased by one.

The All-Reel Multiplier Boost increases the multiplier of all Sticky Stack Wilds by one.

The Golden Card Feature lets you choose 2 extra Features.

During your free games, you’ll frequently see Dino Coins appearing on the reels. As well as giving you potentially huge multipliers, these are used to fill up a meter sat by the side of the reels – and once 5 coins are accumulated, you’ll move up to another level of the Dino Bonus feature before being allowed to select another 2 cards for more features and multipliers. 

Dinopolis Maximum Win

Is Dinopolis Worth Playing and Who Should Play It?
Anyone can enjoy this slot and its theming is unlikely to upset anyone, though it is fairly complex so complete beginners might want to try something a little easier.
