After rocking out at full volume on this game for over an hour we finally got round to finishing our Wild Flower slot machine review. A refreshingly different colour scheme permeates this slot, with reds, blues and greens used for the higher value symbols – and the reels are set against an impressive snowy forest scene complete with purple sky and a large full moon. Celtic knot-style designs are used sparingly but effectively, and the overall impression is that of a slot that’s memorably different without straying from the norm too much. You will, though, immediately notice that the playing grid is designed in a 6-reel, 4-row configuration – and this does throw up all sorts of exciting possibilities. 

Betting Options 
Bets range from $0.20 to as much as $20 per spin, and there are plenty of other options to suit just about anyone. Obviously the more seeds you plant, the more plentiful your crop is likely to be, so to speak. 

Altering your stake couldn’t be simpler: Just use the clearly marked box to the right of the reels and the backwards and forwards arrows to either side will let you set an amount that you’re comfortable with before you get spinning.

Firstly, you need to be aware that this game has not just 1 but 2 wild symbols. These all appear in the central playing grid, which means the middle 4 reels. Both types take up an entire reel whenever they appear, however the Ice Wilds don’t come with a multiplier whereas Flower Wilds do – and it’s a whopping 8x multiplier. Needless to say, we made sure we stuck around for plenty of these when preparing our Wild Flower review as it made a huge difference to our overall returns.

Next up, there’s the Reactions feature. When a winning combination spins into view, you’ll be paid, before the winning symbols disappear and new ones fall into their places from above, giving you another chance to win. Get another winning combination and the same thing happens again. This goes on until no new winning combination is made.

To trigger the free spins, you need to get three or more scatter symbols anywhere on the reels. You’ll then be able to choose from two different free spins games. Choose Most Beautiful Things Free Spins and you’ll get 12 free games. After every Reaction you’ll find a multiplier going up by one. 

Choose Heart Beats Faster Free Spins, however, and you’ll start with 7 freebies, but prior to them starting a single symbol will be randomly selected to be the sticky wild. Any instances of this landing on the central reels will be locked into place for the remaining spins.

The second of these – an enhanced version of Heart Beats Faster Free Spins – rewards any wins using a wild by enhancing the next wild spun in with a multiplier. Every time a multiplier is added, it gets progressively larger. It’s possible for the multiplier to reach up to an incredible 800x, which is clearly huge.

Is Wild Flower Worth Playing and Who Should Play It?
There are other slots that look a little similar to this one, but they tend to be alternatively themed Irish luck-style games rather than something as surprising as Wild Flower. Here, you’ll find far more in terms of features and the theming is way more hardcore once you turn up the sound. Obviously, that’s not strictly necessary but it’s a great track even if you’re not familiar with The Cult’s venerable output, and it matches the gameplay so well that we couldn’t possibly play it in silent mode ever again.
