Betsoft have avoided the standard 5-reel format here and opted for a 4 by 4 grid of card decks, set against a traditional theatre environment complete with velvet curtains and stage lighting. Gathering data together for our Stacked review was a real pleasure, as Betsoft have thrown some fascinating ideas into the mix with this game. First up is the impressive Secret Trick feature. Trigger this and a random number of face-down cards are added to the reels. Once they’ve ground to a halt the cards are turned over to reveal the same symbol, potentially leading to several winning paylines being activated for a large payout. 

Fix the Trick, on the other hand, happens after a non-winning spin and sees the compere magically alter the reels to help you win. It’s not guaranteed to kick in with every losing spin, but the possibility is always there and it’s a real pleasure to witness once you’ve experienced it. 

Last but by no means least comes the Mystery Box feature. Land 3 or more Mystery Box wild symbols anywhere on the reels and you’ll be gifted 5 free spins. At this point the game is literally turned on its head with the playing area flipped upside down – and you’ll then have up to 4 special symbol locations chosen for you, depending on how many wilds you triggered the feature with. These locations will throw up multipliers of up to 4x, additional free spins, sticky wilds or cash prizes of up to 20x your bet level.
